Talk about your round.
Shoot lower scores.
Aftershot turns a 30-second voice memo into the same kind of stats and coaching tour pros use — without the spreadsheets, the sidetracking, or the manual entry. Your playing partner just got a lot smarter.
Tracking your stats shouldn't ruin the round.
You came out to play golf, not to play data entry. Most apps make you punch in every shot, every club, every distance — round becomes a chore, you stop using it by hole eight, and the data you do collect is half-wrong anyway.
Tap, tap, tap. Forget what just happened.
- Manually enter every shot, club, lie, and distance — sometimes 80+ taps a round.
- Slows your group down or you give up by the back nine.
- Stats live in a graveyard of charts you never open again.
- “Insights” that just tell you to hit it closer to the pin.
Talk about it once. Get pro-level clarity.
- Recap a hole in 20 seconds — Aftershot extracts every shot, club, and outcome.
- Keeps pace with your foursome. Talk between shots, or all at once after.
- Strokes-gained, scrambling, proximity, lag — the stats tour pros pay coaches for.
- Specific, honest feedback: “Your putting from 40+ feet is costing you 1.8 strokes a round.”
[real quote pending — Kyle to provide before launch]
Three steps. That's the whole app.
As easy as telling your buddy what just happened on 14.
Tee it up.
Pick your course, hit start, and put the phone away. No fiddling between shots, no GPS dance, no holding up the group behind you.
Talk after each hole.
Hit the mic and recap like you would to a playing partner: “Driver right rough, 7-iron to 18 feet, two putts.” That's it. We figure out the rest.
Walk off knowing more.
By the time you're back at the car, you have a hole-by-hole story of your round, full pro stats, and a single honest answer to “what should I work on?”
As easy as telling a playing partner.
Forget tap targets and dropdowns. Speak naturally — Aftershot understands golf. It knows the difference between a knockdown 8-iron and a punch-out, between a flop and a chip, between “left rough” and “left of left rough.”
- Recap whole holes, individual shots, or skip the boring ones.
- Works offline. Voice memos sync the moment you're back in cell service.
- Forgot a hole? Recap it after the round in the clubhouse.
Meets you where you actually are.
No fantasy advice. If you're a 14, Aftershot won't tell you to dial in your 200-yard approach proximity. It looks at the realistic gains for your game and tells you which two things, worked on for an hour this week, will actually drop your scores.
- Strokes-gained vs. golfers at your handicap — not the PGA.
- Trends across rounds, courses, and conditions. See what's real and what's noise.
- Sees patterns most golfers miss — like that you're losing 2 strokes a round on tee shots when the wind is right-to-left.
Your scrambling is carrying you.Lag putting is leaking strokes.
You're +0.6 strokes-gained around the green vs. your handicap peers — better than 78% of 12-handicaps. But you're losing 1.8 strokes a round from putts beyond 30 feet. Distance control is the unlock.
A coach who's seen every round.
Ask anything. Aftershot's coach has watched all of your rounds, knows your patterns, and gives you one clear answer — not a wall of charts. It builds you a weekly practice plan based on what's actually broken.
- “What should I work on this week?” — answered in one sentence, with a 30-minute drill.
- Pre-round prep: course strategy based on your tendencies and the layout.
- Sets realistic goals and tells you when you've outgrown them.

The stuff we'd ask too.
Do I really not have to enter any stats?
Correct. The whole point is voice. Talk through a hole — clubs, lies, distances, results — and Aftershot extracts everything. You can edit any shot afterwards if it heard you wrong, but most rounds need zero touch-ups.
What if I forget to record a hole?
No problem. Recap any hole later — at the turn, on the way home, in the parking lot, the next morning. The app prompts you for any holes you missed and you can talk through them just like the rest.
How is this different from Arccos, Shot Scope, or 18Birdies?
No grip sensors, no GPS clip, no manual tap-tap-tap-the-club-you-just-hit. Aftershot is just your voice. We get pro-level stats from how you describe the round, then layer on AI that actually tells you what to do about it — not just chart it.
Will it work for a high-handicapper?
Especially. The app meets you where you are — strokes-gained is calculated against players at your handicap, not the PGA, so the advice is realistic. If you shoot 95, we'll help you shoot 91. We won't waste your time talking about gaining 5 yards on your driver.
Can I cancel Pro any time?
Yes. Monthly billing, cancel in two taps, your data stays yours. Drop down to Free and your last 3 rounds a month still work as normal.
When does the beta open?
Cohort 01 invites go out the first week of May 2026. We're doing rolling cohorts every 4–6 weeks until public launch in late summer.
Stop guessing what to work on.
Spend 30 seconds talking after each hole. Walk off knowing exactly what to do next.
